Fall 2012 sneak peek…
Since the Fall Issue of freshlyWORN is due to hit the virtual magazine stand in a little over 3 days, I thought I would share a few sneaky peek pages and some content to get you excited about this gorgeous, fashion packed issue.
One of the most exciting things about this 2nd fullsize issue is the addition of an “artist’s profile” section.
In each new, fullsize issue I will be selecting a new, emerging talent from the photography, fashion and style world… With this feature will come an interview, a selection of some of their best works and an opportunity to get their name out there in a more tangible way. For this first Artist’s Profile and Fall Issue, I’m excited to be presenting Kindra Timmerwilke – recently featured on Chase Jarvis’ blog.
I won’t give away the entire feature… suffice it to say that this girl is an amazing, fresh, conceptual photographer who has taken the concept of 365 [a photo a day] to a whole new level. She’s gone beyond the “here is my coffee cup”, or “here is a self portrait in my car” to deeply emotional, well planned and meticulously executed images. Her work is breathtaking and I’m thrilled that we will be her first publication!
In addition to this wonderful new feature, we are introducing a number of NEW photographers, the return of some favorites and the timeless Fall themes of menswear, plaid and the first frosts of the season.
